Five years ago, an Alabama Air National Guard F-16 !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, WI during EAA’s annual AirVenture fly-in convention.
The Viper sat in the grass off the end of the runway for almost a week before crews removed it. Below is a video of the recovery effort.

Trailer towing dolly.
Used for towing a 5th wheel trailer with a vehicle that doesn’t have a 5th wheel hitch. They also make them for semi trailers.
They also used to use a similar concept for camping trailers in the 1950's, as seen in “The Long Long Trailer”.

I don’t know that that was ever common, at least for people that didn’t insist on towing around a park model mobile home as a camping trailer.
